Time-off

I know that sometimes we can get really busy. We need to meet deadlines, submit assignments, practice some sports, and meet with friends, how are we supposed to fit all of this in 24 hours? we start to feel anxious and nervous when we feel that time is rapidly passing by. Between all the life events that occur, between all the deadlines and hard work, we have to remember to 'recharge'. Our body gets exhausted and so does our souls. You can do a lot of things to help you feel more relaxed and as a result you start being more productive.

1) Meditate.
I know that this simple practice might not be everyone's cup of tea, but to be honest it should be. The calmness that you feel during meditation relaxes you physically and mentally, literally you can take 10 mins of your precious time in the morning and meditate, and you will notice that you are more relaxed and in a good mood during the day.

2) Take a walk.
A walk in the fresh air can definitely help you change your mood in general. You need to help the blood circulation in your body every once in a while and sitting on your desk all day is not the way to go.

3) Declutter.
Doing the simple action of cleaning your desk, or even cleaning your room, can help you feel more relaxed. I can hear you saying "how can doing extra work help me relax?" let me explain; When you are sitting in a cluttered area and nothing is organized, your mind can be distracted by all sorts of things that are in front of you, but if you clean the space and may be change the place of objects, you would feel satisfied with the new view, and you would feel relaxed that everything is tidy and smelling fresh rather than crusty. *dude, seriously clean your room*

4) Write down your tasks.
Skipping this usually makes me forget half of the things that i am supposed to do, and as a result i take more time than needed and this means less free time. If you plan out your day you can actually find time to take a break and relax, may be do some exercise *just kidding, may be order pizza*

5) Get off your phone or laptop.
I don't think this needs any explanation, but okay. The goal of taking a break from work is to change what you are doing and break the routine, so that you can start fresh again. So sitting exactly where you used to work and sit on your phone is not the best option and you may not even feel like you have taken any break.
