How to learn a new language.

Learning a language can be a fast process if you are persistent and dedicated. Here are some few tips to make learning a language not that hard.

1) Language learning websites and apps.

There are free websites and apps that are available for everyone. I used an app called Duolingo to learn German and Portuguese and i am still using it. The fun thing about language learning apps is that they depend on gamification, so you have a score just like a game and you don't feel like you are in a class. Language apps like duolingo offer you the ability to learn using questions and missing words. You maintain a 'streak' if you practice everyday and you earn 'lingots' when finishing a skill or lesson which you can use later to purchase from the shop, i know i am not the best at explaining this but you can literally try it for free.

2) Listen to music in your desired language.

We all love music and we memorize the lyrics of some songs by heart. You can listen to more than one song in the language that you want to learn, pick your favorite song and put it on repeat. The repetition of the lyrics will make it stick to your head easily.

3) Write it down!

When you are exploring a new language you have to write things down because writing helps you remember the information better. Also getting a new notebook and writing in it all the information that you want to memorize in that language will help you a lot, because all the new information would be written down in one place.

4) Listen to Youtubers who speak that language.

Let's say you want to learn Spanish language, listening to youtubers who speak Spanish will be more effective than just reading what is on a screen and it may be in a formal form.

5) Know more about the country.

Knowing more about the country that you want to learn its language and its traditions and habits will make you feel more engaged to their culture and you will be more willing to know more about this country. This will form a special connection between you and the country, that you will want to learn its language even more.
